DESCRIPTION:Bruce Bernhart has played in several bluegrass bands at the Steele County Fair over the past 35+ years\, plus various other county fairs across south-central Minnesota. \n\n\n\nBruce has also been featured playing mandolin on a number of CDs recorded by bands he’s been a part of since the early 90’s. Prior to the mandolin\, Bruce had been strumming the banjo and bass. Since then\, Bruce has mastered the lost art of flatpicking old time fiddle tunes on the guitar with no amplifier and no microphone.

He has been playing at MSB for nearly two years and appears regularly at other local venues and events. He also entertains residents at many retirement homes and assisted living centers throughout the region.
