Peppers & Fries

Steve Frias (a.k.a “Fries”) grew up in a restaurant. Boca Chica Restaurante in St. Paul, opened almost 60 years ago by his parents, Guillermo and Gloria Frias, is where Steve learned his craft. Today the Peppers & Fries burritos are made the same way Steve’s mom and dad taught him. Steve is famous for saying, “Everything tastes better in a tortilla.” 

Steve has a second food love: hamburgers. Steve appreciates burgers of all kinds, but his favorite is the classic COLT burger – a big, juicy patty smothered in Cheese and topped with Onion, Lettuce, and Tomato, nestled between two fluffy buns.
